Members of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church in Youngsville cooked 22 bags of sweet corn during the Corn Fest celebration last weekend, according to Mary Ann Devore. She added that each bag held five dozen ears of sweet corn. A front page story in Monday's Times Observer said the group cooked 22 dozen ears of sweet corn.
