Warren Post 135 won its fourth Senior American Legion Baseball League game this week on Thursday, defeating Youngsville Post 658, 10-1, at Davis Street Field in Youngsville.
After sweeping all three games of its season series with Tidioute in a 24-hour span between Sunday and Monday, the Post 135 club ran its record to 5-1 this season by cruising past Youngsville. Hank Morrison was one of the major reasons why, accounting for two homers and five RBI for the winners.
Morrison's big night started early as the recent Warren graduate smacked a solo homer to put Post 135 on top, 1-0. Two more Post 135 runs scored in the second inning as Matt Jaskolka and Dan Maeder both raced home on Post 658 errors.

Hank Morrison is congratulated by coach Jeff Walters as he rounds third after one of his two home runs — one grand slam — in Post 135’s 10-1 Senior American Legion Baseball win over Youngsville Post 658 on Thursday in Youngsville.
The visitors were able to push the lead to 4-0 in the top of the third on a Maeder RBI single and the hosts responded by scoring their only run in the bottom of the third. Jake Marino set the table with a double and scored when Cory Craig belted a two-bagger of his own.
The Craig RBI got Post 658 within three at 4-1, but Post 135 put the game out of reach with six runs in the top of the fourth. Jake Retterer, Andrew Bevevino and Todd Fasenmyer all singled to load the bases before Morrison jacked his second dinger of the evening to make it 8-1.
After back-to-back singles by Ryan Gustafson and Jaskolka, Brad Walters completed the night's scoring by bringing home a pair and making it 10-1.
In three wins against Tidioute, Morrison was 10-for-10 with 13 RBI, and Draven Kuzminski 5-for-7 with eight RBI, including 4-for-4 with a homer and six RBI in one win.
Post 135 will try to make it six wins in seven tries Monday when it plays Sugar Grove Post 758 at Russell's Werner Park.
