Pork chops served
The United Methodist Women's Group of the Grand Valley and Sanford Charge will host a free "Stuffed Pork Chop" Community Dinner for all residents of Eldred and Southwest Townships in Warren County, on Wednesday, June 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. (or until food is gone). The dinner will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Grand Valley United Methodist Church, on Goodwill Street (off Route 27 in Grand Valley) and will consist of stuffed pork chop, mashed potatoes, fresh carrots, applesauce, dessert and beverage. Fellowship hall is handicapped-accessible.
AOC on the move
On Thursday, June 28, the Allegheny Outdoor Club (AOC) will ride bikes in the Frewsburg/Homestead Park area. Participants will meet beside TOPS Market in Frewsburg at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call Pat Spicer at 757-8331 between 9 and 11 p.m. Dogs are not permitted on Allegheny Outdoor Club bike rides.
On Sunday, July 1, the AOC will hold its planning meeting at the Wildlife Viewing Pavilion at Kinzua Dam at 2 p.m. Participants should bring a sack lunch, a lawn chair, and their kayak or canoe for a float on the Allegheny River to Dairy Delite for ice cream after the meeting. The group will schedule events for July, August and September. Warren High School Class of 1951 will have breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, at Perkins Restaurant in Warren.
