Park Avenue Motor Car is 9-0 in the regular season of the Valley Girls Slow Pitch Softball League after sweeping two games on Monday.
One was a slugfest against CTI Physical Therapy, which has just two losses on the season - both to Park Avenue.
Alicia Corey had a huge night for Park Ave. First, Corey and Emma West were each 4-for-4 in a 20-4 win over AC/CJ's.
Corey, Corrie Bednez and Missy Snyder had five hits each in a 17-10 comeback win over CTI in the nightcap. Park Ave. trailed 8-3 after two innings before an eight-run third, including many of the runs with two outs.
Sadie Billingslea smacked three home runs over two victories for Crescent Beer Monday in a 15-5 victory over Styles Unlimited and a 15-3 victory over The Rouse Home. Crescent also topped The Rouse, 15-0, a week ago.
In the win over Styles Unlimited, Billingslea and Hazel Heeter went deep for the winners. Cheryl Leonard, Zuri Kelly and Melissa Clarke all added triples.
This week's big win over The Rouse featured two Billingslea homers, a triple from Heather Cressley and doubles from Clarke and Leonard.
Mike's Townline Service swept a pair of games in convincing fashion, 15-0 over The Rouse, and 16-6 over AC/CJ's.
Kristin Sheldon was 3-for-3 in the shutout over The Rouse, and Savanna Cochran, Erica Walker and Carissa Stuart were each 3-for-3 in the five-inning win over AC/CJ's. Margo Madigan blasted a grand slam and Ashley VanGelder had a home run in the nightcap.
