Margaret "Maggie" Jane Confer, 59 of Moundsville, WV passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
She was born August 1, 1952 in Marienville, Pa. the daughter of the late Merle W. and Ida Mae Gravelle Confer. Margaret worked as a waitress for many years.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifford, Clem and Carm Confer and a sister Betty Arbuckle.

She is survived by her son, Robert "Chuck" Confer and girlfriend Tammy Reynolds of Moundsville; daughter, Lisa Dawson and her companion, Jimbo Metz of Moundsville: five brothers, Tom, George (Peggy), William and his companion, Kim Irwin, Robert (Linda) Confer all of Moundsville and Dave Confer of New York; five sisters, Dorothy Hutton, Ruth (Robert) Wagner, Cathy Colvin and her companion, Frank Zervos, Opal (Larry) Hill all of Moundsville, and Grace (Richard) Hunt of Pa.: five grandchildren, Mauricia Confer, Raven Bonnette, Koult Confer, Morgan and Logan Metz; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the CARE Chapel, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 26 at noon, at the Washington Cemetery, Wolf Corner, Pa. with Pastor Jeff Sterling officiating.
