Thomas L. Bentley

Thomas L. Bentley, 65, of formerly of Clarendon, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Select Specialty Hospital, in Erie, PA.  Thomas was born November 7, 1951, in Warren, PA. He was the son of the late Grant and Patricia (Dalrymple) Bentley.

Thomas was a Steel Drum Worker at Berenfield Container, retiring due to illness.  A skilled outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, and camping all summer until his health no longer allowed.

He is survived by one daughter, Janessa D. Shepherd, of Warren; one sister, Caroline Shine, of Bradford; two brothers, James Bentley, of Jamestown, NY and Lawrence Bentley, of Missoula, MT; five grandchildren, Cheyenne, Lacoda, Jameson, Tristan, and Emily; one greatgranddaughter, Paisley Mae; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Saturday, December 17, from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Jonathan Keefer, associate pastor, First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.  Burial will be in Weiler Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to National Wildlife Federation P.O. Box 1691 Merrifield, VA 221161691; or a charity of choice.
