Jerald “Jerry” C. Armstrong, 76, of Terre Haute, IN passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 in Franklin Hospital in Benton, IL. He was born February 17, 1942 in Warren, PA to Clayton L. Armstrong and Mildred Carlson Armstrong.
Survivors include his wife, Mary “Pat” Armstrong; sons, Timothy Armstrong and wife Melissa, and Scott Armstrong and wife Wendy; daughters, Tabby Armstrong and husband Mitch Corona, and Sandra Fougerousse and husband Nick; sisterinlaw, Marilyn Armstrong; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Armstrong; and sisters, Marilyn Ramsdell and Elaine Nye.
Jerry was a graduate of the University of Tennessee. He retired from Tredegar Film Products in 2001. After retirement he enjoyed making maple syrup and spending time outdoors in Pennsylvania.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Seelyville, IN with Father Joe Feltz officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Friday, December 14, 2018 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, Terre Haute, IN.
