Susan Lyle Minor

She was born in Warren, PA, on April 12, 1943, and graduated from Warren High School in 1961. Following graduation, she worked at Blair (New Process).

Later she married Robert Minor on Nov. 26, 1966; he preceded her in death on March 16, 2015. After raising their daughter, Susan worked as a library clerk and volunteer at Grove City High School.

She loved being involved in her church, Tower Presbyterian, where she was a member for 30 years.

Susan was known for knitting baby blankets for family and friends and loved to bake and share her cutout cookies for all of the holidays.

She loved her wonderful neighbors, friends, and family and they loved her right back. She was a determined survivor and will be dearly missed.

Her daughter Jennifer Oleyar and husband Jim, grandchildren Jacob, Jackson, Julia, and granddog Buster of Lafayette, CA, and her dog Jeffrey survive her.

Her parents Stanley Jacob Lyle and Leione Fitzgerald Lyle, husband Robert, a brother Craig Lyle and a sister Lorraine Langham preceded Susan in death.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Tower Presbyterian Church, 248 S Broad St, Grove City 16127.

A memorial service will be held in E. J. Fifthian Chapel of Tower Presbyterian Church, Grove City with a luncheon following on Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at 11:00 AM. Burial in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA
