DeLarme at an outdoor show
After a two month hiatus, the Warren Arts and Cultural Center is back in action with an art show by Warren Art League president Diane DeLarme. DeLarme, who is drawn to the Impressionist style of art, works in acrylics, along with venturing into various forms of sculpture. She was approached last year by GRO-Warren executive director Chris Cheronis about having a show at the Arts and Cultural Center. “To me, she is one of the most outstanding artists in the county,” Cheronis said. “She is very, very creative. You can tell a Diane DeLarme piece of art in a second. She has a very unique style. I just love it. According to Cheronis, DeLarme’s show, which runs Sept. 5 through Sept. 30, will be her first solo show at the Arts and Cultural Center. “She has some amazing new techniques and things she is going to be showing,” Cheronis said.
