For the second year, senior citizens will have a chance to get together and have a good time. The Senior Lifestyle Celebration, to be held on June 26, is a day of games and other activities and a chance for senior citizens of Warren County to just have fun. “It’s a collaboration between area businesses to do something aimed towards seniors,” Pat Carpenter of Blair said. The celebration starts at 10 a.m. and there will be Blair Bingo with gift certificates, clothing and other items as prizes. There will also be a fashion show at 11 a.m. with 12 women and three men modeling Blair outfits. A mock poker table will also be set up with candy and prizes as winnings, Carpenter said. There will also be a “Deal or No Deal”-styled game, in which a person gets to pick cases with Blair gift certificates of varying value inside. Carpenter said three or more people may be able to play if time permits.
