No money, but green light to decorations

August 7, 2013

There’s no telling yet if it will be a white Christmas, but it could be a bright one. Cost concerns kept the lights off when it came to holiday decorations in downtown Warren last year....

Here is a idea! Why not use the money (change) in the fountain for lights for Christmas! I'm sure over a years time there must be a few hundred pulled out of there!

Wow the money grubbing city can't spend a few dollars to make our city look nice for Christmas. Itty bitty little towns like Waterford, union city, weedville, Kane, etc can seem to put up lights but not warren! Pitiful! As for the snowflakes weren't we told they were in such bad shape they were thrown out? Now we seem to have them again? Hmmm go figure! Thank you Mr Zavinski for taking this on! And for all you do on your own for this town!

Maybe they could use the "Command" type hooks. They stick on things and can be taken off when not needed but maybe they aren't strong enough to use. It's nice to see all the decorations up and I helped with the sign by the hospital last year.
