Back pay for furloughed Federal Employees. What a joke and waste of tax dollars. Can't the get unemployment compensation or use their vacation leave if the choose. We are going to pay them for work that was not done. Just like the politicians.

What about the $24 billion that it cost the GNP for this political stunt? Thompson voted to shut the government down in the first place. He ought to have done something. People are not going to forget this.

Does Representative Thompson think he should be commended for being a Statesman? He could have voted on the passed legislation a month ago. He's like the guy who joins the team with 2 minutes left in the game and then tries to take credit for the 20 point win.
