Robert Patchen in an American Hero !!!

Between this story and the election, poor Mr. Ristau suffered a double kiester kicking. He won't be able to sit down for a month.

As often happens, someone or some persons step up and volunteer to accomplish a task. Kudos to WCCBI and the paper..."Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus" and he's coming to Warren, PA!!

The parade tradition is a long and a worthy one and many families will tell you that it is primary reason they come downtown because their kids are either participating or want to watch. The other activities are great and they attend them as well but the parade is the primary motivation. Congrats to Bob Patchen at the WTO for spearheading the effort.

I think the time of Warren Main Street is coming to a close. We need to question why its here to begin with.Hoorah to WCCBI and the Times Observer for coming forward to stop a age old tradition from being pushed aside. I KNOW this will be the most magical Christmas parade in years.

Patchen and WCCBI ought to work Whoville into their theme somehow. Then have the Grinch theme play every time Ristau walks by.
