HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Another dose of snow for Pennsylvania has pushed back the high school football championships and will likely make for a chilly last day of deer hunting season and complicate travel.
The Saturday snowfall is expected to leave 4 to 8 inches in much of western, central and northern Pennsylvania. The Philadelphia area may only see an inch or 2, and National Weather Service meteorologist John LaCorte says to take it easy on the roads, especially with people wanting to go Christmas shopping.
The Class AA and Class AAAA high school football championship games are being moved from Saturday to Sunday, although the Army-Navy game in Philadelphia will go on.
Amtrak says trains between Philadelphia and New York should be able to handle the snow.
