February 4, 2014
Associated Press

SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) — A former corrections officer from Lackawanna County is going to be spending some time behind bars himself.

WNEP-TV (http://bit.ly/MrTqPW) said Stephen Cardamone of Clarks Summit was sentenced Tuesday to spend 12 to 30 months in the same prison where he used to work.

Prosecutors said he pleaded no contest in November to one count of corruption of minors and two counts of harassment.

Police said in 2007, Cardamone gave cigarettes to a 16-year-old girl in exchange for sexual favors and exposed himself to another girl.
