10 Things to See: A week of top AP photos

March 6, 2014
Associated Press

Here's your look at highlights from the weekly AP photo report, a gallery featuring a mix of front-page photography, the odd image you might have missed and lasting moments our editors think you should see.

This week's collection includes demonstrators who tied themselves to a fence outside the White House to protest the Keystone XL Pipeline, Palestinian children flying kites at sunset in the southern Gaza Strip, Lupita Nyong'o receiving a standing ovation as she accepted the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for "12 Years a Slave" and revelers throwing talcum powder over each other during Carnival celebrations in Santa Cruz de la Palma in the Canary Islands, Spain.
