Varsity Football

Forestville defeated Sherman, 48-25.

Chris Persons had two touchdowns and Tyler Griswold had one touchdown for the Wildcats (0-6). Mike Reed had 264 yards passing on 49 attempts. Persons had 83 yards receiving and Mike Reid had 114 yards receiving.

Girls Volleyball

Sherman defeated Hinsdale, 25-11, 25-13, 25-11.

Beth Gribble had six kills, two aces, and one block and Rachael Ottaway had five kills and three aces for the Wildcats. Michelle Persons added four kills and three aces.

Sherman defeated Brocton, 25-10, 25-13, 25-17.

Taryn Teculver had 16 points, one ace and 16 assists for the Wildcats. Persons had eight kills, four aces and 14 digs and Ottaway added three blocks and four aces.

Sarah Mangus had eight points and three aces and Cindy Ferguson had three kills for the Bulldogs.

Varsity Football

Clymer clinched a tie for the Class D divisional championship with a 28-0 victory over Clymer.

The Pirates improved to 6-0 with one regular-season game remaining this week.

Nick Heil had three touchdowns in the second half and finished with 134 yards rushing on 14 attempts for the Pirates. Andy Bemis had 77 yards rushing and 45 yards passing. Josh Ferl had 16 tackles on defense.

Girls Volleyball

Pine Valley defeated Clymer, 25-23, 25-19, 18-25, 25-22.

Emily Trisket had two kills and 11 points and Andrea Lictus had two kills and three blocks for the Pirates. Lauren Rothenberger had 22 sets and eight points.
