Varsity Football

Clymer defeated Ellicottville, 46-8.

Nick Heil recovered a blocked punt in the end zone and returned an interception 20 yards in the first quarter. He also scored on a 35-yard run and on a 75-yard punt return in the fourth quarter. Nick Lombardozzi ran back a kickoff 75 yards for a score. Andy Bemis and Tyler Schwab also scored for the Pirates.

Girls Volleyball

Maple Grove defeated Clymer, 25-18, 17-25, 25-12, 25-15.

Lauren Rothenberger had 16 points and 29 sets and Samantha Hartman had nine points for the Pirates. Hannah Neckers had 21 sets and Kate Wiggers had 11 spikes, one kill and four blocks. Andrea Lictus had 17 spikes, four kills and eight blocks.

Clymer defeated Hinsdale, 25-21, 25-9, 23-25, 25-21.

Lictus had 22 spikes, four kills and 10 blocks and Wiggers added 11 spikes, three kills and five blocks for the Pirates. Neckers had 29 assists.
