John and Mary Lynn Salerno recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Nic-L-Inn restaurant. John Salerno and the former Mary Lynn Leonard were married July 18, 1959, in Jamestown, N.Y. Mr. Salerno is retired from the National Forge Co., and Mrs. Salerno is retired from the law offices of Mervine and Hammond.
The dinner was hosted by their four children including Karen Salerno, Tina Lauffenburger and Jim Munksgard, John and Laura Salerno, and Sherry Salerno. They have eight grandchildren who also attended, inlcluding Allison and Brandon Salerno, Jake, Alex and Libby Lauffenburger, Nicholas and Anna Salerno, and Cody Futch.
Family attended form Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Florida.
