Dale and Laura Freeborough of Youngsville celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010. A dinner was hosted in their honor by their son-in-law and daughter Donald and Paula Corey. Dale E. Freeborough and Laura M. Barber were united in marriage on Feb. 28, 1970, at the United Methodist Church in Allentown, N.Y. The ceremony was performed by Pastor W. B. Grossman, Jr. Witnesses to the wedding ceremony were Mr. Freeborough's brother and sister-in-law Glen and Audrey Freeborough.
Mr. Freeborough is a retired Marine and Korean War Veteran; he also retired from the Warren State Hospital. Mrs. Freeborough is retired from Blair.
