Man charged in death of woman in central Pa.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Authorities have announced charges in the death of a woman whose body was found several weeks after she disappeared in central Pennsylvania last month.

Twenty-nine-year-old Luis Lugo-Davila is charged with criminal homicide in Dauphin County in the death of 27-year-old Erica Klinger, whose body was found last week in Perry County.

He was earlier charged with fleeing arrest, theft and receiving stolen property after police said he was found driving the car belonging to Klinger, who was last seen leaving her job in Silver Spring Township on June 8.

Prosecutors alleged Tuesday that Lugo-Davila strangled Klinger in a Lower Swatara Township hotel room and later dumped her body.

WPMT-TV reported that Lugo-Davila said in Spanish as he left Tuesday's arraignment that "I didn't kill her, it was an accident."
