Memory Borough Tree
The Sugar Grove Borough has put up a "In Memory Of" Christmas Tree at the Sugar Grove Borough building. The tree was donated by John Allen Excavating. Stop by the Borough building anytime and put a ribbon on the tree in memory of loved ones. It would be nice to do it before the Christmas walk, but feel free to do it anytime before Christmas. The tree is outside so you will need to bring something appropriate to tie it to the tree. If you have any questions, you can call the Borough building at 489-7822. The ribbons will be the only decorations on the tree.

Red Kettle Campaign
You will notice the Salvation Army Kettle once again located outside of the Town and Country Food Center throughout the month of December. Each weekend the Kettle will be manned by volunteers from local area churches in an effort to raise funds for the Salvation Army to help locally in our community. The Red Kettle Campaign helps raise donations for those who need it most by providing toys for kids, coats for the homeless, food for the hungry and countless other programs. When you give to the Red Kettle Campaign the monies remain in the community in which you donate so please come out and support the Sugar Grove Area Salvation Army Kettle.
Photos at the Library
Do you enjoy watching and feeding the birds in the winter, or know someone who does?
The Sugar Grove Free Library is selling framed photographs of some of our local birds just in time for the Christmas shopping season. The photographer, Brian Anderson, is donating the proceeds of $35 per picture back to the Jamestown Veterinary Wildlife Fund. So stop at the library, do a little Christmas shopping for those bird watchers on your list, and give to a worthy cause.
