There appears to be some type of leak in the borough of Tidioute water system.
The water authority is asking customers to limit the amount of water used for watering gardens, lawns, filling pools, washing cars, etc. until the problem can be found and corrected.
Anyone who notices unusual wet areas on their property or have noticed a drop in water pressure recently should contact the borough office at 484-7424 with this information.
Portions of the water system may be shut off occasionally while the maintenance crew is trying to isolate and ultimately repair the leak.
Your cooperation with this issue is greatly appreciated.
The Summer Supervised Playground is still in session at the Tidioute Charter School.
There are several activities happening at the playground area and is not being interfered with by the new playgoung equipment.
Most activities take place at the basketball court and the area between the basketball court and the door leading to the elementary section of the school.
Playground hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Supervisor is Jessica Shaw and she has several ideas for those who are attending.
If attendance is low this year, there may not be a supervised playground next year. So please support this program in Tidioute so we can keep it going.
