Accident. According to Warren-based state police, at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Larenda K. Martin, 26, Tidioute, was traveling south on Rte. 62 south of Grunderville Rd. when a deer entered the roadway. The deer traveled into Martin's path, which caused her to use evasive action by turning her 2005 Chevrolet Uplander to the right, then traveling 15 ft. off the roadway, striking a guardrail, police said. After impact, police said the vehicle then traveled 18 ft. along the guardrail, coming to final rest facing south. According to police, Martin was wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured while her passenger, Renee L. Rogers, 26, Tidioute, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries.
