A Columbus teenager was killed in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday morning on Plank Road.
According to Corry-based state police, Jeffrey J. Bedow, 19, of Columbus was northbound on Plank Road at 7 a.m. when his 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt traveled off the east side of the road for an unknown reason and struck a large tree.
Police said Bedow, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle.
Bedow was transported to Corry Memorial Hospital by Corry Ambulance, where he was pronounced dead by Erie County Coroner John Maloney.
Police were assisted at the scene by Columbus and Corry volunteer firefighters.
