Carol Lewis served up pancakes, sausage and eggs at last year’s annual Pancake Supper at the Akeley United Methodist Church. This year’s event will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the church on the Akeley Road. The price is by donation. The Akeley United Methodist Women use the money from this fundraiser for local missions projects. The Sunday school will also hold a bake sale with many homemade goodies available for purchase. The bake sale will go toward camperships to Wesley Woods camps.
