Lila Louise Haumesser, 86, a lifelong resident of Sheffield, Pa, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Rouse Warren Coun-ty Home.
Lila was born March 18, 1926, at home in Sheffield, PA, the daughter of the late Emerson and Clara Carl Kifer. She was a 1944 gra-duate of Sheffield High School, and was a member of the Sheffield United Methodist Church. She loved to play piano, to cro-chet, spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Leslie Haumesser and his wife Brenda, St. Marys, and their children, Haley, Tammy and Kelly Hau-messer, and Gregory J. Hau-messer and his wife Elena, Virginia Beach, VA, and their children, Jessel Em-peno, Jo Anne Hunter and Gerry Guban; a daughter, Tammy Leichtenberger and her husband Dale, Shef-field, and their children, Ashley Leichenberger and Corinne Vanderzee and her husband, Darren; sisters in law, Betty Kifer, Sheffield and Sue Kiffer, Niagara Falls, NY; and many nieces and nephews, and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in January 1966, by her husband, Frederick E. Haumesser;a son, Tho-mas Joseph Haumesser; six brothers and two sisters.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Fun-eral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Mon-day, April 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. at which time a funeral service will be held there with Rev. Marcus Briggs, Chaplain, Rouse Warren County Home/Warren Gen-eral Hospital, officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Warren, Pa.
