Warren man found guilty

Shannon L. Frederick, 806 Lincoln Ave., was found guilty at a bench trial Monday on all counts stemming from a DUI incident that occurred last Oct. 10.

Frederick was found guilty on misdemeanor counts of DUI: general impairment - incapable of safe driving - first offense, DUI: high rate of alcohol (BAC .10-.16) first offense, DUI: general impairment - incapable of safe driving with accident - first offense. She was also found guilty of driving on roadways laned for traffic, a summary offense.

The second- and third-degree misdemeanors carry a mandatory sentence of 48 hours in jail and a $500 fine. The maximum penalty is six months in jail and a $5,000 fine. The other charges carry lesser penalties.

Judge Gregory Hammond presided.

First Assistant District Attorney Elizabeth Feronti prosecuted the case and Assistant Public Defender Alan Conn represented Frederick.
