Robert E. Anderson, 81, of E. Main Street, Youngs-ville, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, Pa.
He was born on Sep-tember 28, 1930 in Cleve-land, Oh., a son of the late Walter E. and Carrie M. Anderson.
Bob grew up and lived most of his life in Cleve-land, Oh., and was a member of the Ancient Ac-cepted Scottish Rite, Val-ley of Cleveland, 32nd De-gree, Collinwood Lodge No. 0582. He was an avid competitive Distinguished Master Shooter, winning several state champion-ships in Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania and qual-ifying for the 1980 Olym-pics. He retired from Climax Specialty Metals in Euclid, Oh. in 1994 and moved to Youngsville where he remained an avid outdoors-man enjoying shooting, hunting and camping.

Bob is survived by his wife Cheerful, whom he married on June 28, 1958 in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, two sons Keith L. Anderson and his wife Kim of Lander, Pa.; and David E. Anderson of Youngsville, Pa. Also surviving are two grand-daughters Chris Ann Ruhl-man and her husband Derek of Waynesville, Mo., Emma Lee Anderson of Youngs-ville, three grandsons Tyler Anderson and wife Fatima of Okinawa, Japan, Kevin Anderson of Lander, Pa., and Michael Anderson and fiance Natalie of Edinboro, Pa., as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Tren-ton and Adalynn Ruhlman and Logan Anderson. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Ginger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine R. Anderson-Baughman.
