Two men involved in February's drug sweep were sentenced by Judge Gregory Hammond during sentence court proceedings on Friday.
Stephen M. Allen, Warren, was sentenced to serve 20 days to two years less on day in the Warren County Jail with credit for 20 days time served on a charge of possession with intent to deliver marijuana. He was also sentenced to 50 hours of community service, a suspension of his driver's license, a DNA test and meet all recommendations for treatment given to him by Deerfield Behavioral Health. He was ordered to pay fines and costs totaling $1,360.
Andrew Martin Armes, Sugar Grove, was sentenced to 21 to 42 months in state prison on two counts of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances stemming from an incident in 2011. He was ordered to undergo DNA testing, received a six month license suspension and was ordered to complete and comply with a drug and alcohol evaluation and pay $1,200 in fines and costs.
On a charge related to February's drug bust, Armes was sentenced to an additional one to two months in state prison to be served consecutively as well as an additional one year suspension of his driver's license. He was also ordered to pay an additional $700 in fines and costs.
Eighteen additional sentences were handed down Friday.
Correy James Bush, Warren, to three months to two years less one day in the Warren County Jail with credit given for time served on a charge of possession with intent to deliver morphine and was also sentenced to two years of probation. He was ordered to undergo DNA testing, participate and comply with a drug and alcohol evaluation to provide recommendations for treatment and received a six month suspension of his driver's license. Bush was ordered to pay fines and costs totaling $2,200.
Demetrius L. Tucker, Buffalo, to 36 to 72 months incarceration in state prison on a charge of possession with intent to deliver. He received a six month license suspension, was ordered to undergo DNA testing and was ordered to pay $15,700 fines and costs.
Andre Michael Sharpley found guilty of possession with intent to deliver heroin, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a small amount of marijuana and criminal conspiracy by a jury on March 2. He was sentenced to nine months to 2 years in state prison with credit for time served as well as a two year license suspension. He was ordered to undergo DNA testing and pay $5,700 in fines and costs. He received an additional sentence of nine months to two years in state prison for the criminal conspiracy charge, one to two months for each possession of drug paraphernalia charge, all to be served consecutively. He was ordered to pay a $500 fine for the marijuana possession charge. Sharpley is boot camp eligible.
Angela K. Buchleitner, Warren, to one year of probation, 30 hours of community service and was ordered to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation for one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also ordered to pay $650 in fines and costs.
Brett E. Johnson, Pittsfield, to nine months to two years in state prison for a misdemeanor simple assault charge. A state prison sentence was imposed due to violations Johnson incurred in jail and the severity of the attack, Hammond said. Johnson was also ordered to have no contact with his victims or their family and was ordered to complete an anger management program, pay $1,250 in costs and fines and an additional $57,001.69 in restitution.
John Michael Griffin, Sugar Grove, to pay $165 in total fines and costs for summary counts of careless driving, driving on the right side of the roadway and operating a vehicle without an official inspection. Griffin was suspected of being under the influence of controlled substances during court proceedings, testing positive for suboxone and artificial marijuana. Hammond remanded Griffin to the Warren County Jail for five days.
Kyle Thomas Abbott, Youngsville, to 30 days in the Warren County Prison with a 60 day period of house arrest to follow for a second offense DUI: highest rate of alcohol. He was given credit for 30 days time served at the Turning Point Treatment Center. Abbott was also sentenced to five years in the intermediate punishment program. He must comply with all recommendations for treatment from Deerfield Behavioral Center, complete 18 hours of community service and attend the victim impact panel and alcohol highway safety program. Abbott was ordered to pay $2,250 in fines and costs.
Brittany N. Adamaszek, Corry, to two years probation, served consecutively to probation she is currently serving in Erie County, for a count of criminal conspiracy. Adamaszek was ordered to undergo a DNA test, complete 50 hours of community service, have no contact with her victim and pay $1,220 in total costs, fines and restitution.
Daniel M. Bevevino, Russell, to 87 days to one year in the Warren County Jail with credit for time served for a misdemeanor harassment charge. Bevevino was also ordered to complete 50 hours of community service and pay $850 in costs and fines.
Jody Ann Fitch, of Warren, to one year of probation, served consecutively with her current probation term in Forest County, for a count of bigamy. Fitch was also ordered to pay $750 in fines and costs.
John C. Gadley, Johnsonburg, to 12 to 36 months in state prison with credit for time served on a charge of identity theft. He was also ordered to pay $2,250 in fines and costs and have no contact with his victim.
Eva Marie Gertsch, Youngsville, to 13 days to two years less one day in the Warren County Jail with credit for time served on a count of theft by unlawful taking. Gertsch was also ordered to pay $1,615 in fines, costs and restitution and to have no contact with her victim.
Angela Fern Henry, Warren, to six months to two years less one day in the Warren County Jail with credit for time served on counts of forgery and theft by unlawful taking. Henry was ordered to participate in DNA testing, have no contact with her victim and not be released on parole until the Warren County Probation Department approves a probation plan for her.
David E. Metz, of Tidioute, to 90 days in the Warren County Jail to be served consecutively to his current incarceration on other charges on a count of driving while operating privilege is suspended. He was also sentenced to a one year suspension of his driver's license. Metz was also sentenced to an additional consecutive term of 30 days to six months in the Warren County Jail for a second offense of DUI: highest rate of alcohol. He was ordered him to comply with a previous drug and alcohol evaluation, complete 50 hours of community service, participate in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact programs. Metz was also sentenced to an additional consecutive 12 month suspension of his license. He was ordered to pay $2,650 fines and costs.
Bonnie Ray Richards, Warren, to six days to two years less one day in the Warren County Jail for a count of theft by unlawful taking, given credit for time served. Richards was also ordered to complete 50 hours of community service and have no contact with her victim.
Adam R. Rodgers, Warren to 12 days to two years less one day, with credit for time served, for a charge of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. He was also sentenced to one year of probation, 50 hours of community service, a one year license suspension, DNA testing and he must comply with recommendations following a drug and alcohol evaluation with Deerfield Behavioral Health. He was also sentenced for five other counts from the same incident including, driving on roadways laned for traffic, obeying stop signs and yield signs, turning movements and required signals, driving without lights to avoid identification or arrest and reckless driving. Rodgers received a total of 12 months additional suspension of his license for the five counts. In a separate incident, he was sentenced to one year probation to be served consecutively for another charge of fleeing or attempting to elude police, 25 hours of community service and an additional one year license suspension. He was sentenced for five further counts in the incident including, obeying stop signs and yield signs, turning movements and required signals, driving vehicle at safe speed, maximum speed limits and reckless driving. Rodgers received an additional six month suspension of his license as a result of the charges and was ordered to pay a total of $2,415 in costs and fines.
Shane Edward Tuszynski, Youngsville, to 15 to 90 days in the Warren County Jail with credit for time served on a charge of simple trespass. He was also ordered to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, comply with all treatment recommendations resulting from it and have no contact with his victim. He is eligible for work release.Tuszynski was also sentenced to an additional 15 to 90 days to be served consecutively n in the Warren County Jail on a charge of public drunkenness. He was ordered to pay $950 in total fines and costs for the two counts.
Faye Marie Williams, Warren, to two months to two years less one day for a charge of receiving stolen property. Williams was also ordered to complete 100 hours of community service, complete and comply with a drug and alcohol evaluation and was ordered to pay $1,680 in fines, costs and restitution.
