Cathryn (Kay) Ann Bunker, 83, of Sheffield, Pennsylvania passed away Tuesday, April 10th, 2012 in her home. She was born April 12th, 1927 in Mount Jewett, Pennsylvania to Russell and Mary Ander-sen.
Richard (Dick) Allison Bunker, 81, of Sheffield, Pennsylvania passed Sun-day, April 15th, 2012 at Hamot Medical Center. He was born August 7, 1930 in Bradford, Pennsylvania to George Ellsworth and Hazel Higley Bunker.
Kay, a Jamestown Busi-ness College graduate, was a long time employee of Sheffield School District. She was an active member of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, for which she was recognized for knitting over 100 baby blankets for local hospitals.

Dick, a master carpenter, was employed by Corbon Wood Products, Nelson Brothers, United Lumber, and Frank Chase Cabinet Makers. He was proud to be a part of construction on the Kinzua Dam Power House, Millcreek Mall and Hamot Medical Center.
Both enjoyed spending their time at the Sheffield Senior Center. He enjoyed playing pool, while Kay enjoyed playing cards. Both were always eager to lend a helping hand wher-ever they saw a need. They were also longtime members of the Sheffield United Methodist Church. Dick and Kay thought of the senior center, church and community on Four Mile Creek as their extend-ed family.
Kay is survived by her two children Gary Swanson of Lake Elsinore, California and Douglas Swanson of Jamestown, New York. Dick is survived by his children Lori Godfrey of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Rick Bunker of Pocatello, Idaho; Kathy Bennett of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Angie Gaeta of Royse City, Texas; and Brenda Summers of Rigby, Idaho. Together they had twenty-two grandchildren.
Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Kay, and his infant daughter Patricia Ann.
A memorial service was held at the Sheffield United Methodist Church on April 17th, 2012. A military graveside service will be held at a later date.
A memorial fund has been established in their honor through the Sheffield Senior Center.
