The safe boating course given by the Kinzua Power Squadron, the American Boating Course, is accepted by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. An article published in Friday's Times Observer erroneously stated it was not accepted.; the only thing that is not accepted is the card issued by the course. The Fish and Boat Commission will issue a card to people who pass the Power Squadron Course for a fee. All three classes must be attended. Classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 9, 16 and 23 at Smith Boys Marina, Ashville, N.Y. Walk-ins are accepted. There is a charge of $20 for books, which can be shared.
