Wendy D. Borton, 54, of Rt. 958 Pittsfield, Pa., passed away Monday June 18, 2012 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born January 9, 1958 in Warren, a daughter of the late Rodney N. Peters and Mary Buchanan, who survives her of Warren. She was employed at Ellwood National Forge and also at Cox's Auction House. She enjoyed woodworking, building furniture, bowl-ing, lottery tickets, trips to the casino, and most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be missed by many.

Wendy is survived by a son Glenn "Bobby" Borton of Pittsfield, four daughters Wendy (Jeffrey) Church of Columbus, OH, their 2 chil-dren Gavin and Kylie, Barb Martin of Frewsburg, NY, Brenda Sullivan of Irvine and Nan Borton of Clymer, NY, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, Melody "Al" Shaffer of Clarendon, Carol Kimber of Jamestown, NY, Jodi (Jason) Harkins, and Debra Brewer, both of Youngsville, 2 brothers, Kenny Peters of Warren and Joshua Sutton of Pitts-burgh.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Za-chary Sockman, step moth-er Elanore Peters, and a sis-ter Linda Jandrew.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Nelson Fun-eral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St., in Youngsville. A funeral service will be held on Fri-day at 11 a.m. at the Saron Lutheran Church in Youngsville, with the Rev. Mark Fischer, pastor, offici-ating. Burial will be in the Stilson Hill Cemetery.
