Dear editor:
Signs have been posted in Sugar Grove for over a month now for people to stop for people in the crosswalks.
Well, how does anyone know where to cross when there isn't any cross walks in Sugar Grove ?
Well, there is one down where the bowling alley used to be but has faded. Does someone have to get hit and killed before the borough of Sugar Grove paints cross walks on the road seeing how it is a state law to stop for people in the cross walks?
I have grandchildren who live in the borough of Sugar Grove and the first time someone hits anyone in town they will probably say What cross walk?
With all the beautifications going on in Sugar Grove let's take some money and get the cross walks painted before someone gets hurt. There has been alot of people in town with the S.G.V.F.D. 80th anniversary. Well, Sugar Grove Sale days will be coming up in July and how many people are going to be in town? Lots always is.
Wake up Dutch Strand (mayor of Sugar Grove). Get with the program.
