Bad check. Warren City police said a non-traffic citation was filed on July 20 charging Rufus H. Frederick, Clarendon, after a $42 check he issued on May 30 to City Ice and Beverage was returned and marked 'not sufficient funds.'
Bad check. Warren City police said a non-traffic citation was filed on July 20 charging Mary Ann Fitzgerald, Clarendon, after a $48 check she issued on July 7 to City Ice and Beverage was returned and marked 'account closed.'
Bad check. Warren City police said a non-traffic citation was filed on July 20 charging Mary M. Vanhart, Warren, after a $46.50 check she issued on June 27 to City Ice and Beverage was returned and marked 'account closed.'
Bad check. Warren City police said a non-traffic citation was filed on July 20 charging Raymond E. Vanhart, Warren, after a $24.50 check he issued on May 1 to City Ice and Beverage was returned and marked 'not sufficient funds.'
Bad check. Warren City police said a non-traffic citation was filed on July 20 charging Rufus H. Frederick, Clarendon, after a $21 check he issued on June 1 to City Ice and Beverage was returned and marked 'not sufficient funds.'
Charged. Warren City police said Dale J. Yucha, Warren, was taken into custody at 7:54 p.m. July 9 and charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. According to police, Yucha kicked in the entry door to a Tremont Street residence. Police said damage to the door is estimated at $725.
Charged. Warren City police said a criminal complaint was filed Monday charging Faye E. Smith, Warren, with endangering the welfare of children. According to police, Smith was responsible for the custody and care of three of her children on July 23 and failed to provide a safe environment for them. Police said the seven-year-old child left for Lacy Playground and traveled there alone with no supervision. Police said while Smith was sleeping her one-year-old and two-year-old children were found wandering near Lacy Playground wearing nothing but a t-shirt at 10 p.m.
Arrested. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Robert T. Wingard, 20, 214 Madison Ave., on July 9 on charges of violation of parole. Wingard, who was originally placed on parole on charges of receiving stolen property, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested on a supervisor's warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Tidioute
Loitering and prowling. Tidioute Borough police said they have received several complaints of a known male who made entry, or attempted to gain entry, into several residences between 3 and 5 a.m. on July 23. Police said an investigation is continuing.
