Criminal mischief. On Feb. 24 at 4:03 a.m., Warren-based state police cited Wayne Glasgow, 22, Garland, with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness. Glasgow is accused of kicking and damaging a sign owned by Garland Volunteer Fire Department. Police said while they were investigating that incident they found Tyler Engle, 20, to be under the influence of alcohol. Engle was cited for underage drinking.
Criminal conspiracy/escape. On Feb. 23 at 11:35 p.m., Marienville-based state police investigated an incident where a known 21-year-old male arrived at the Abraxis 1 facility in an attempt to help a 20-year-old female escape. Police said the male subject was encountered by Abraxis staff and found to have been in possession of a BB-type handgun. Police said the female subject had corresponded via U.S. Mail to arrange the attempted escape. Both subjects were arraigned in front of District Judge George Gregory. The male subject was remanded to the Warren County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail and the female was remanded on $75,000 bail. Clarion-based state police assisted.
