False reports. City of Warren police reported that on April 9, Barbara Roberts, 46, Warren, was charges with false reports following an investigation where Roberts reported to police that her debit card had been stolen and had been used once at an ATM to empty the account. Roberts implicated another person in the theft but officers were able to obtain video footage of the ATM transaction that showed Roberts had taken the money.
Underage drinking. City of Warren police reported that on April 14, James Highhouse, 18, Christina McMillen, 20, and Tyler Whitney, 20, all of Warren, were cited for underage drinking after officers were called to investigate a noise complaint and found them to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
Possession. City of Warren police reported that on April 18, Lehulani Rounds, 31, Warren, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and possession of a controlled substance after her employer reported a theft had occurred at the place of business. Rounds was observed going though another employee's purse and removing medications. Rounds was arraigned before District Justice Glenn Carlson and released on $50,000 unsecured bond.
Retail theft. City of Warren police reported that on April 9, a juvenile male was cited for retail theft after police were dispatched to a convenience store for the theft of a drink totaling $2.19. He was released to the custody of this father.
Retail theft. City of Warren police reported that on April 11, Sarah Munch, 19, Warren, was cited for retail theft after a report from a convenience store that Much was allegedly caught on video consuming two caramels totaling $0.66 and did not pay for them.
Crash. City of Warren police reported that on April 13, Gerry McIntyre, 55, Clarendon, was cited for careless driving following a traffic accident after she struck a legally parked vehicle on Crescent Park, causing it to jump the curb and travel 39 feet from its original location. No injuries were reported and both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Crash. City of Warren police reported that on April 13, Traci Suleski, 28, Warren, was cited for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle, false reports, limitations on backing and drivers required to be licensed after a hit and run accident was reported to have occurred in the parking lot of a local establishment. Officers retrieved video from the business that shows Suleski striking the victim's vehicle and leaving the scene.
Possession. City of Warren police reported that on April 18, Kris Spencer, 26, Warren, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, defiant trespass, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and public drunkenness after officers were dispatched to an industrial business where it was reported that a man entered the building where he fell asleep on a couch located in the lobby. Spencer was uncooperative with officers and hospital staff and placed in the Warren County jail. He was later arraigned and paid $2,500 cash bail.
DUI. Warren-based state police report a two-vehicle crash resulting in DUI charges which occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Apr. 12 in the area of 113 Race St. in Sugar Grove. According to police, David K. Brown, 59, Russell, was traveling east on race street when Lucas Jacob Baines Wolfgang, 24, Jamestown, NY, turned out of a driveway and attempted to turn west onto Race St., pulling directly into the path of Brown. Wolfgang's vehicle struck the driver's side door of the Brown vehicle, trapping Brown inside the vehicle.
Brown was freed from the vehicle and transported to Women's Christian Association Hospital in Jamestown. Wolfgang suffered no injuries.
Upon further investigation, Wolfgang was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of crash. Two counts of DUI and additional summary charges have been filed with District Judge Laura Bauer's office.
DUI. On April 18, at 10:20 p.m., Warren-based state police stopped Kevin VanHouten, 45 of Pittsfield on East Main St. in Youngsville after he was observed committing several traffic violations. He was found to be intoxicated and subsequently arrested for DUI.
Theft by Unlawful Taking. Warren-based state police were called to a residence on Indian Camp Rd. for a reported theft that occurred between 3:00 p.m. on March 23 and midnight March 24. According to police, a silver, heart shaped ring with a diamond in the center had been stolen. The ring was valued at $600 and the investigation continues.
DUI. Warren-based state police report a DUI crash which occurred at approximately 3:42 a.m. on Apr. 21 on Jackson Run Rd., approximately 1.4 miles west of Market Street. According to police, Makia N. Haines, 24, Warren, was operating a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix traveling east on Jackson Run Rd. when the vehicle left the south edge of the roadway as she came out of a left curve, striking a mailbox and a fence. The vehicle then overturned before coming to rest on its tires, next to a house, facing south.
Haines was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The Haines vehicle was towed from the scene by Rarey Towing. The North Warren Volunteer Fire Department and Emergycare assisted at the scene.
Charges of DUI and other traffic violation were filed with District Judge Laura Bauer's office.
Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to the Warren State Hospital on April 24 at 4:35 a.m. after Justina Robinson, 31 of Warren, punched Kimberly Kraft, 40 of Warren, in the stomach. A charge of harassment was filed with the District Court.
Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to the Warren State Hospital on April 25 at 3:00 p.m. after a 23 year-old female from Warren, punched a 40 year-old female from Warren, in the face causing a red mark on the victim's cheek. A charge of harassment was filed with the District Court.
Flight to avoid apprehension. Warren-based state police report an incident of arrest prior to requisition/flight to avoid apprehension which occurred on Apr. 24, on Rt. 6. According to police, Thomas E. Thompson, 28, Silsbee, TX, appeared at the state police barracks for fingerprinting for employment. Thompson was determined to have a felony warrant in the state of Louisiana with extradition authorized.
Thompson was taken into custody and taken before District Judge Laura Bauer. Bail was set at $50,000 and Thompson was remanded to the Warren County Jail.
DUI. Warren-based state police report investigating a DUI which occurred on Apr. 27 at approximately 11;12 p.m. on state route 2 approximately two miles north of Tidioute. According to police, a 2007 Ford pickup truck operated byScott A. Zinger, 31, Warren, was traveling north on route 2 and was stopped for committing several traffic violations. Zinger was subsequently arrested for DUI.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of criminal mischief which occurred between Apr. 1 and Apr. 26 in the area of Gorma Road. According to police, unknown actor(s) tore down and vandalized a metal ladder stand, belonging to a 51 year-old male of Erie, breaking the ratchet straps and bending it. Damage is estimated to be approximately $200. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact police or Warren County Crimestoppers.
Crash. Warren-based state police report investigating a crash which occurred at approximately 4:56 p.m. on Apr. 25 in front of a residence at 17023 Enterprise Road. According to police, a 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer operated by Albert J. Ross, 28, Warren, was traveling east on Enterprise Rd. just east of Hunter School Road. A 2005 Toyota 4Runner operated by Jaclyn N. Steffee, 18, Titusville, pulled out of the driveway of a residence at 17023 Enterprise Road and attempted to turn left to head west. The Toyota entered the highway directly into the path of the Mitsubishi. The Ross vehicle struck the Steffee vehicle on the passenger side rear door. Upon impact, the toyota continued east, turning approximately 90 degrees and facing south before Steffee was able to straighten out the vehicle before coming to rest along the eastbound shoulder of the roadway. Steffee was able to move the vehicle approximately 400 feet from the point of impact. Ross was able to move the Mitsubishi into a residential driveway.
The Albert vehicle was towed from the scene by Thompson's Garage. Grand Valley Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Theft by Unlawful Taking. Warren-based state police filed criminal arrest warrants for Jerry Brown, 45 of Titusville and Barry Evans, 26 of Oil City with District Magistrate Lindemuth. According to police, the accused trespassed and removed scrap metal from a Pleasantville residence on March 1.

Theft. Warren-based state police report investigating a theft which occurred between Apr. 18 and 25 on Paige Hollow Road. According to police, unknown actor(s) entered the property of Donald Paul Little, 75, at 5125 Paige Hollow Road and removed a red 4x8 utility trailer.
