Teen Male Dancer of the Year
Warren’s Adam Flagella was recently named American Dance Award’s Teen Male Dancer of the Year in Pittsburgh. Flagella earned the award on May 12 in Coraopolis with his lyrical solo “Always Midnight,” choreographed by Nicole Cunningham. It is Flagella’s second title this season. Flagella and the rest of the Dance Express members are participating in this weekend’s 29th Annual Dance Unlimited recital at Warren Area High School.

Softball: Warren at Iroquois, 11 a.m.
Track: District 10 Class AA Championships, at Harbor Creek High School, 9 a.m.
Sonia Probst had low gross of 37 and Betty McPherson and Dorothy Curtis shared low net of 31 in Thursday Morning Ladies Golf League play at Cable Hollow Golf Course. Annie Selan had the round's only birdie. Here are the flight-by-flight results from the round:

The team of Al Baldensperger, Leslie Baldensperger, Richard Fisher and Lana Creal finished first with a 25 on Friday in the Conewango Valley Country Club's Couples League 1 Net Best Ball of 4 tournament. Jim Phillips, Pat Phillips, Vance Lauffenburger and Michelle Lauffenburger finished with 26, and Ron Leofsky, Deb Leofsky, John Dale and Judy Dale third at 27.
The team of Rob and Monica Ritchie shot 32 for first on Friday in the Jackson Valley Couples League. The teams of Mike and Brenda Toter and Marty and Jill Ruhlman tied for second at 34. The team of John Gray and Cathy Baldensperger was fourth with 35.
Celoron clipped Carroll, 334-324, and Randolph got past Busti, 344-340, in Chautauqua Country Trap League this week. Randolph's Steve Crudele and D.M. Bifaro and Busti's E.J. Rammelt and Reed Johnson all shot 50's this week.
Rose Corbran, Sunny Linden and Tiffany Decker shared high lady honors this week by shooting 45's, Andrew Hvizdzak was high junior with a 48 and Dalton Becker was high sub-junior with a 49. High vet was Dave Kingsley with a 48, Rammelt was high senior vet with his 50 and Jim Stearns was high super senior vet with a score of 49.
