Theft. Corry-based state police responded to a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at a private residence on Happy Town Rd. on June 6 at 5 a.m. According to police, the suspect arrived at the residence in the suspect vehicle, an unknown sedan. Police said, upon arrival, the suspect gained access to the victim's vehicle and removed $15 cash. The victim, Dean Morton, 47, of Bear Lake, observed the suspect flee in a southbound direction and gave chase. The suspect eventually eluded the victim. Anyone with information is asked to contact Corry-based state police. An investigation is on-going.
Indecent Assault. Warren-based state police are investigating an allegation of indecent assault against a 6-year-old victim from Tiona. According to police, the assault occurred between Dec. 1 and Dec. 17, 2012.

Harassment/Underage Drinking. Warren-based state police are investigating an assault that occurred on Morrison Run Rd. on June 9 at 12:30 a.m. According to police, Daren Campbell, 28, struck Kevin Apthorp, 19, several times. Apthorp went to Warren General Hospital for treatment and to report the assault. He was subsequently charged for consumption of alcohol by a minor. Campbell was charged with harassment. Both charges were filed through District Magistrate Laura Bauer's office.
