Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to Warren State Hospital on June 12 at 10:50 p.m. after a patient, Brenda Carroll, 35, kicked the leg and scratched the wrist of a 63-year-old female employee. Police said Carroll will answer to charges before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.
Charged. Warren-based state police were called to a residence on Jackson Run Road at 7:10 p.m. June 18. According to police, Julie Stillwell, Columbus, Ohio, pulled the hair of Ashley Mountain, 22, Sugar Grove, spit on her, and shoved her. Police said Stillwell, who was highly intoxicated, ran around inside the residence nude, subsequently exposing herself to numerous children under the age of 16 before running outside, along Jackson Run Road, exposing herself to neighbors and passing motorists. Police apprehended Stillwell and she was arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer on charges of harassment, public drunkenness, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct. She was then remanded to the Warren County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to a business along Route 6 on June 18 at 3 p.m. after a 64-year-old male choked a 54-year-old female with his hands. Charged were filed with District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
Theft. Warren-based state police responded to the Rest Stop 6 Inn in Tiona after Barbara Sonnett, Warren, reported $15,500 worth of guitars, amplifiers, and cases were stolen from the bar area of the business. Police report the incident occurred between May 25 and 28.
Simple assault. Warren-based state police were called to an incident in front of a residence on N. Main Street on June 18 at 6 p.m. According to police, a 19-year-old male and a 17-year-old male were involved in an altercation. Police said charges are pending.
