Parole violation. Officers at the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Susan Marie Allen, 49, Warren, on July 1 for violation of parole. Officers said Allen was questioned by her probation officer and admitted that she had ingested "bath salts" earlier in the week. Allen, who was originally placed on parole on the charges of DUI third offense, was arrested by on a supervisor's warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.
Simple assault. Warren-based police charged Timothy Pence, 51, Youngsville, with simple assault on July 1 at 10:40 p.m. on July 1 following an incident at Hog Haven Bar, Mathews Run Rd. According to police, Pence punched a victim in the face during an argument causing a chipped tooth and fat lip. Police said charges of simple assault and harassment were filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth office.
DUI. Conewango Township Police said during a Warren County DUI Enforcement Checkpoint on Market Street charged Brandon E. Towne, Warren, at 2:55 a.m. June 30 with driving under the influence. Police said Towne is being charged with one count of misdemeanor DUI general impairment, DUI high rate, one count summary careless driving and one count summary expired inspection. Charges have been filed at District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
Harassment. Warren-based police said they charged Heather Ruby, 24, Warren, and Stehpanie Waterford, 24, Warren, with harassment at 2:35 p.m. June 30. According to police, Ruby and Waterford became involved in a verbal disagreement, repeatedly yelling and confronting one another in a threatening and aggressive manner. Police said charges were filed at District Justice Laura Bauer's office in North Warren.
DUI. Warren-based state police said Chris F. McAmbley, 70, Warren, was stopped at a traffic safety checkpoint at 8:23 p.m. June 30 and suspected to be under the influence of alcohol. Police said McAmbley was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to their barracks for processing. Police said charges, including two counts of DUI, careless driving, and restraint systems were filed at District Justice Laura Bauer's office in North Warren.
Burglary. Warren-based state police said between June 24, and July 1, unknown individuals forced their way into the former Pittsfield Elementary School, which is now owned by Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry, and removed electrical wiring. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
