Warrant Arrest. Warren County Sheriffs Deputies and the US Forest Service Law Enforcement arrested Amber Albaugh, 26 of Warren, on July 6 at about 7:40 p.m. on Hemlock Rd. Albaugh was arrested on a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for her Preliminary Hearing issued by Warren County Court of Common Pleas and three Bench Warrants issued by District Judge Laura Bauer. Albaugh was placed in the Warren County jail pending further court action.
Hit and Run. On July 4 at 10:40 p.m., Conewango Twp. Police report John Leubbert was traveling west on Rt. 6, when someone struck his vehicle at the rear. The driver of a red Toyota Tacoma then left the scene without giving any information to Leubbert. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Conewango Twp. Police.
Bad Check. Conewango Twp Police report on July 4, they received a complaint from Warren Midtown Motors that stated a Bad Check was received from Rachel L. Wright, Smethport, in the amount of $500. A certified letter was sent to Wright and she failed to make good on said check. Wright is being charged with one count Misdemeanor Bad Check and charges have been filed with District Magistrate Laura Bauer pending further court action.
Harassment. Warren based-state police were called to the Warren State Hospital on July 5 at 4:30 a.m after Marlena Hartman, 21, of Warren was scratched on the wrist and punched in the stomach by Justina Robison, 31, of Warren. The accused was charged with Harassment through District Magistrate Laura Bauer's office.
Burglary. Corry-based state police responded to a Deadmans Run Rd. residence for a reported burglary that occurred between the hours of 5 p.m. July 4 and 10:30 a.m. July 5. According to police, someone gained entry to the residence and removed four birds, (Jenday Conure, Sun Conure, Goffin Cockatoo, and Umbrella Cockatoo) belonging to Margaret Frangione, of Pittsfield. DUI. Warren-based state police arrested Beth Hoffman, 37, for DUI, following an encounter on Hemlock Rd. on July 6 at 5:15 p.m. Charges were filed through District Magistrate Laura Bauer's office.
Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Warren-based state police report on July 5, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., a pick-up truck belonging to Todd Ace, 33, of Sheffield, was stolen from a private driveway near 10978 Rt. 6. The vehicle was parked, unlocked, with the keys inside. The truck is described as a red 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel Truck with a steel rack in the bed, a plastic tool box across the bed, rear window stickers and the bottom portion of the truck trimmed in black, a single-shot 12-gauge H & R shotgun was inside. Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to an incident at a residence on Hall St. on July 4 at 4:16 a.m. According to police, a 39 year-old male and a 33 year-old female became involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation causing minor injury. Charges were filed against both individuals through District Magistrate Glenn Carlson's office.
