YMCA soccer donation
In the spirit of community collaboration and teamwork taught through youth sports, Jones Chevrolet Buick GMC recently made a donation of equipment and financial considerations to the Warren County YMCA Youth Soccer League. Takin’ in a ball game
Recently the two Sheffield Area T-ball coaches arranged to have the teams go to a Pirate game. The kids were on the field during pregame, and also received a Pirates Hat and Clemente jersey. In spite of a two and a half hour rain delay, the teams were able to take in a great 14 inning contest. Cable Hollow youth clinic
Cable Hollow Golf Course completed a youth clinic on Monday, July 22. Mike's Townline scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to win a Valley Girls softball contest over Results Rehab by a score of 9-8. For Mike's Townline, Kirsti Bennett and Kristen Sheldon tripled and Ashley VanGuilder added a double. In the loss, Jess DeAngelo and Cammie Cressley tripled and Rachel Tellinguisen chipped in with a double.
A 16-run fourt inning propelled CTI to a 26-6 win over Allegheny Cyclery (ABC). Meghan Lyszaz and Kristy Kuzminski went 5-5 and Kuzminski, Sarah Phillips, Michelle Slade and Ashley Elms all homered in the win.
