Crash. Warren-based state police said on July 30, Scott Cressley, 37, Warren, was driving his Chevrolet Trailblazer east on Valentine Run Road and failed to negotiate a left curve. Police said his vehicle traveled off the south side of the road and became stuck in a large ditch. Police said it was determined that Cressley was driving under the influence. Police said he will face charges of DUI and summary traffic violations before District Justice Laura Bauer.
Crash. Warren-based state police said David A. Littlefield III, 24, Clarendon, was traveling east on Route 6 on July 27 Ford Contour and failed to negotiate a right curve. Police said Littlefield's vehicle crossed the centerline, swerved back across the lane and crossed the eastbound lane fog line. Police said Littlefield began to spin counter clockwise and struck a utility pole on the south side of the road, shearing it off. Police said Littlefield also struck a mailboxnext to the utility pole. Littlefield's vehicle continued to spin eastward along the south side of the road where it struck the front of a residence, police said. His vehicle came to a stop facing south in front of the residence at 312 S. Main St. Police said Littlefield and his passenger, Harry Lyon Jr., 19, Clarendon, fled the scene on foot. The occupants of the residence were unharmed. Police said Littlefield will be charged with driving vehicle at safe speed and accidents involving damage to attend vehicle or property before District Justice Laura Bauer.
