Northwest Savings Bank announced Tuesday that it has made a $10,000 donation to the Redevelopment program in downtown Youngsville.

Holmberg responded to the contribution with these comments, "It is only through the generosity of numerous community supporters like the Northwest Savings Bank that we are able to help our residents achieve real economic and community health.
"This contribution will be invested as part of the existing redevelopment plan to improve a pedestrian friendly downtown that reflects our heritage. We thank the Northwest Savings Bank for this generous gift to our community's future. They have made a difference in the lives of many people today."
