Criminal mischief. Conewango Township Police report sometime between Aug. 25 and Aug. 28 someone used a suspected paint marker to write on a picnic table at the North Warren Presbyterian Church Pavillion. Police said a sharp object was used to carve away a portion of the picnic table. An electric receptacle was also tampered with, causing damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police at 726-0725.
Disorderly conduct. Warren-based state police have charged a 12-year-old boy with disorderly conduct. According to police, on Aug. 25 at 12:28 p.m., the juvenile was in a vehicle with his father at the intersection of Market Street and Jackson Run Road. Police said the juvenile was upset with his father and jumped out of the moving vehicle. Warren County 911 received several phone calls referencing the incident. The disorderly conduct charge was filed through District Magistrate Laura Bauer's office.
Pine Grove Twp.
Harassment. On Aug. 28 at 5:17 p.m., the Warren-based state police were called to a Priest Hollow Road location for a verbal altercation which escalated when the suspect slapped and pushed the victim. Police said the 61-year-old victim decline to pursue charges.
Theft. Tidioute Borough Police report that sometime between the afternoons of Aug. 21 and Aug. 29, someone with a master key removed an undetermined amount of quarters from a Pepsi vending machine at Polly's Market. Police are asking if anyone cashes in quarters, to contact Tidioute police at 730-0441.
