Richard Kolcharno, a resident of Warren for seven-plus years, has announced his write-in candidacy for the two-year seat on Warren City Council.
Kolcharno is a graduate of Mansfield University with a Masters in Religious Education from Bethany Theological Seminary and 39-plus years of administrative/teaching experience in Christian education. He is the administrator of Warren County Christian School.
Kolcharno is a volunteer at the St. Joseph's food kitchen, chairperson of the executive council at his church and of the "Connection" program which meets weekly at the YMCA. He has been involved in local sports, including officiating at both Little League and various high school level sports.
"My desire is to serve the people of Warren and will be running for the two-year write-in term on city council," Kolcharno said.
