Kinzua Soccer Club will hold tryouts for its spring 2014 girls and boys U-10 to U-19 travel teams on Saturdays, Oct. 19 and 26, at 10 a.m. at the KSC fields on State Street (Warren State Hospital grounds).
Eligible players will have birthdates between Aug. 1, 1994, and July 31, 2005. Current high school soccer players do not need to tryout, but will need to register to be considered for a team.

Sheffield's Jereek Jackson was an honorable mention pick for D9sports.com's Player of the Week for week six of the 2013 season.
Jackson had 127 rushing yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns to go along with a 60-yard touchdown reception in the Wolverines' 28-14 win over Otto-Eldred on Saturday.
Tyler Kepple of Karns City and Zane Watson of Redbank Valley were named co-players of the week.
The Eisenhower Football Boosters will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in room 309 at Eisenhower High School. Game film from the Cambridge Springs game will be shown prior to the meeting at 6 p.m.
Jr. high hoops
Ike Blue fell to Oil City, 38-10, on Tuesday. For Eisenhower, Savannah McKown had five points, Haley Spicer two, Payton Mineweaser two, and Maya Edwards one.
For Eisenhower Gold, in a 21-14 loss, Delaney Mizzi had four, Lexxi Head three, Brielle Whitney two, Ashlee VanGuilder two, Caroline Hishman two, and Cameran Edwards one.
