SENECA-The Lady Dragons bounced back from Tuesday's loss to Conneaut with a non-region sweep of Cranberry Wednesday night at Cranberry High School.
Warren won the first set cleanly, 25-16, but the Berries battled back and forced a pair of extended sets, which the Lady Dragons took 26-24 and 27-25.
"We lost our focus a few times but hung on and finished each game strong," said Warren coach Mike Dolan. "It was a good non-region road victory and got us back on the winning track."
Offensively, Rachel Lasecki led the way with 12 kills, Paige Wilson had nine kills, Allie Morrison eight kills, Valerie Latimer six kills, Teah Bines 23 assists, and Ashley Barker seven assists and four kills.
McKenzie Merenick had a strong night defensively with 12 digs, Bines had nine digs, and Bailey Dilks had eight digs. Wilson had three blocks, and Brittni Merenick had a block and two kills.
Warren's junior varsity team lost in two sets, 22-25 and 17-25. Haley Nelson had three kills and four aces, Haley Tuller had three kills, and Alexis Munksgard had two aces and four digs.
The Lady Dragons will return to action next Tuesday when they travel to Titusville.
