Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that someone forcibly entered the residence of William Wilcox on Eccles Road on Oct. 9 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and stole lottery tickets, quarters and a nugget of gold. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
DUI. A 17-year-old male was arrested by Youngsville Borough Police on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 11:15 p.m. Police said the driver was stopped for a traffic violation and during the stop it was determined he was intoxicated. He was charged with DUI and underage drinking. Three other subjects in the vehicle were taken into custody: Kenneth Medycki, 19, Robert Kreitzbender, 28, and another 17-year -old male. The two adults have been charged with corruption of minors and furnishing to minors. The 17-year-old passenger has been charged with drug possession, underage consumption and drug paraphernalia.
Propulsion of missiles onto a roadway. On Thursday, Oct. 3 at approximately 6:30 p.m., an adult female was struck in the head by a rock that was thrown from underneath the East Main Street Bridge. Police have identified two male juveniles who threw the rocks. The investigation continues.
Assault. On Tuesday, Oct. 1 at approximately 1 p.m., Youngsville Borough Police were called to respond to Youngsville Elementary/Middle School for an assault against a staff member. A known 12-year-old female student allegedly did physically harm a female teacher. Police said the staff member was left with a bite mark and bruises on her arms. Charges are being filed with juvenile probation.
